LEARNING LOGS

The type of Learning Logs we use for Mathematics are "quick-writes."

During a Quick Write, students are given approximately 5-6 minutes to write the explanation for a solution to the specific type of problems being studied.  Each student should write as if he or she is writing an explanation to another student of how to do a math problem.  The student should include the why of the solution as well as the how.
